I am a certified practising speech pathologist investigating the use of non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) as a treatment for post-stroke aphasia. My research examines uses techniques such as electroencephalography to examine neurophysiological responses to NIBS. I am also interested in clinical translation and identifying the barriers and facilitators that impact the integration of new technologies such as NIBS into practice. Ultimately, my work aims to bring together the fields of brain stimulation and aphasiology, bridging the gap between bench and bedside. I am based at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) in the Brain Stimulation, Imaging, and Cognition Group.
