Associate Professor Elizabeth Hoon is a qualitative research specialist at the Adelaide Rural Clinical School, and a senior researcher at the Discipline of General Practice.E. Hoon is a social scientist and health services researcher with 15 years’ experience in large multidisciplinary research projects, leading qualitative methodological input and process evaluation design. Their positions as a qualitative research specialist in the Adelaide Rural Clinical School (0.5 FTE) and in the Discipline of General Practice (0.3 FTE) have focussed on bringing diverse stakeholders’ perspectives to exploratory studies of primary care and health systems, including rural and remote experiences, as well as understanding how intervention studies are implemented in diverse settings. Hoon has published 50 peer reviewed articles, has 549 citations, a Research Interest Score of 298.0 and an h-index of 13. Hoon is a current CI /named researcher on two Category 1 grant and has recently contributed to the completion of three Category 3 grants (lead CI on one).
