My research examines the complex interactions between urban form, microclimate and thermal environments. I investigate how urban geometry, materiality, façade characteristics and infrastructure planning influence the urban heat island effect and human thermal comfort. My current work focuses on both indoor and outdoor thermal comfort and on developing effective cooling strategies related to energy demand. I aim to contribute evidence-based solutions that support urban policy, resilient city design and environmentally responsible development.
