Based in Perth, Western Australia, Emily is a highly experienced Psychologist with over 19 years’ experience across not-for-profit and private sectors. Emily has developed expertise in clinical practice, supervision and teaching. She has extensive experience in the area of trauma-informed practice, working within the child protection system and with children and families who have experienced trauma from abuse including working as a therapist and clinical supervisor of a Child Sexual Abuse Therapy Service in regional Western Australia.  Emily has a history of roles in clinical leadership, consultation and management of multi-agency advocacy services providing child focused and coordinated supports to children who have experienced sexual abuse. Emily is an AHPRA approved supervisor and has for many years focused on supporting both provisional and registered psychologists in working with persons who have experienced trauma from abuse through consultation and supervision.   In recent years Emily has broadened her clinical leadership lens to the professional and tertiary education sector. Emily has engaged in team projects and initiatives supporting workforce development and capability building with the Australian Centre for Child Protection. In addition to providing development expertise, Emily is the Course Coordinator and Teaching Academic for courses in the Graduate Certificate in Childhood Trauma and Professional Certificate in Understanding Childhood Trauma.
