Dr. Dawei Liu is a molecular biologist with extensive expertise in RNA regulation and therapeutics development. His research has made significant contributions to understanding complex RNA regulatory networks, particularly in circular RNA biology and post-transcriptional gene regulation. His work spans fundamental mechanisms to translational applications, including pioneering studies on circular RNA biogenesis, trafficking, and function in cancer biology. He has developed innovative methods for RNA manipulation and demonstrated their applications in various disease models. His recent work extends to RNA therapeutics, investigating the biodistribution of delivery systems and advancing RNA-based therapeutic strategies. With a strong foundation in both molecular techniques and disease modeling, his research bridges the gap between basic RNA biology and therapeutic applications, positioning him at the forefront of RNA-based medicine development.
