Dr Danny Gibbins
Senior Research Fellow
School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences
Danny Gibbins has research interests in signal and image processing, image analysis, automatic target recognition, scene analysis and 2 and 3D imaging systems (including infrared and LADAR). He is actively involved in commercially sponsored R&D projects in these areas.
My areas of research include image processing, machine vision, image analysis, 2 and 3D automatic target recognition systems and techniques, 2 and 3D sensors. More recently I have been focusing on image processing techniques for infra-red imaging systems.and range sensor systems such as LADAR.
