Daniella graduated from University of South Australia in 1996 obtaining a degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm). She undertook an internship under the supervision of the then president of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) SA Branch Grant Kardachi and was the intern representative on the PSA Board. Upon registration with the Pharmacy Board of South Australia Daniella worked in community pharmacy; became accredited by Australian Association of Consultant Pharmacy, specialising in aged care and medication management services, then moving into a role as manager and director for several pharmacies with the Plympton Pharmacy Group.
Daniella then moved into the field of pharmacy education through the role of Education Officer at the Pharmacy Board of South Australia, primarily working with intern pharmacists and competency assessment. Through this role, she became involved with Australian Pharmacy Examining Council assessments for overseas trained pharmacists. This led to a role with the Australian Pharmacy Council to write and validate examination questions for the Australian Intern Written Exam and Competency Assessment of Overseas Pharmacists.
Daniella moved to UniSA undertake a position as Lecturer in the Pharmacy Postgraduate Education Unit in 2010, where she collaborated in the development of the UniSA Pharmacy Intern Training Program. Daniella currently is a co-course coordinator for PHAR 5042 Advanced Pharmacy Practice and PHAR 5051Social and Ethical Issues in Health and is a Liaison Pharmacist in PHAR 4017 Pharmacy Placement and a tutor in PHAR 4024 Pharmacy Practice 4.
