My PhD focusses on conservation genomics and microbiome studies of the endangered Woylie (Bettongia penicillata). Through this, I aim to contribute to our understanding of the species’ requirements to assist with its nationwide recovery.
I completed my Bachelor of Science (Wildlife Conservation Biology) at the University of Adelaide in 2022. I then received my first-class Honours degree for investigating preferential habitat selection in Cunningham’s skink (Egernia cunninghami) using a photogrammetric approach novel to ecological studies.
Having worked in the environmental management and consulting industries across Australia, I have a keen interest in bridging gaps between industry and research to achieve collective conservation goals.
