Clinton is a Lecturer and Course Coordinator in Nursing at Adelaide University. The position involves the teaching, mentoring, and development of students in an environment where they feel safe and supported.

Clinton has worked both locally and overseas in a mix of public and private sector Intensive Care Units (ICU) where he has undertaken clinical, leadership, and education roles both within and outside the ICUs.
