Dr Christy Graff is a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon at the Women's and Children's Hospital in North Adelaide.  She is especially interested in investigating areas of paediatric orthopaedics associated with paediatric trauma and outcomes.  She is currently undertaking several projects through WCH.

Project 1

Nerve palsies with paediatric supracondylar humerus fractures:  can we always watch and wait?  A retrospective cohort trial investigating outcomes of nerve palsies after supracondylar humerus fractures at WCH since 1998

Project 2

RIFIC:  Re-fractures In the Forearm In Children.  A prospective case controlled trial investigating risk factors for for re-fractures in children

Project 3

LIFIC:  Loss of position In fractures of the Forearm In Children.  A prospective cast controlled trial investigating risk factors for loss of position of fractures in children

Project 4

SISS:  Surgery after in situ screw for slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE):  Does screw removal matter?  A retrospective cohort trial investigating difficulties in screw removal in secondary surgery after SCFE

Project 5

LOTIC:  Long term Outcomes of Triple Arthrodesis in Children.  A retrospective cohort trial investigating long term outcomes of children after triple arthrodesis at WCH.

Dr Graff teaches medical students through the Women's and Children's Hospital.  She runs and interactive 2 hour lecture for all 5th year students on How to interpret fractures in children.
