Chris Bishop is an ASICS industry funded Research Fellow in the Alliance for Research in Exercise, Nutrition and Activity (ARENA) at UniSA. Chris established the ARENA Gait & Performance Analysis Laboratory at UniSA, with his research in the lab relating to foot function, athletic footwear and foot orthotic design during walking and running.
Chris' current fellowship is centred around perofrming innovative research to better understand the effect of athletic footwear design on human body biomechanics, running performance and running economy. Chris also directs ASICS Oceania's footwear wear test program in Australasia. Chris also teaches biomechanics into the Podiatry and Human Movement programs in the School of Health Sciences.

Academic qualifications
