Dr Chelsea Reynolds

Dr Chelsea Reynolds is a Clinical Psychologist specializing in the intersection of sleep psychology, learning, and cognitive development. With extensive expertise in sleep disorders, she has over a decade of experience treating sleep difficulties across the lifespan, particularly using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi). Dr Reynolds' expertise in adolescent sleep EEG has translated into best practice research. She is a co-founder of the digital CBTi program Bedtime Window and has contributed to research and clinical trials exploring effective sleep interventions.
In the education sector, Dr Reynolds works as a Senior Psychologist with a strong focus on psychoeducational assessment and best practices for supporting cognitive and academic development. She supervises provisional psychologists and clinical psychology registrars, guiding them in psychoeducational assessment and intervention strategies. She also contributes to statewide policies on psychoeducational assessment and delivers professional development to educators, psychologists, and community members on factors affecting learning and development.
Dr Reynolds has extensive experience providing therapeutic support to children, families, and adults, helping them manage challenges related to sleep, cognition, and mental health. As an academic with research expertise in both sleep and cognitive development, she integrates evidence-based insights into her clinical practice, training, and policy contributions. She is an experienced lecturer and presenter, regularly sharing her research at national and international conferences and providing education on sleep and psychological well-being to a broad range of professional audiences.
Dr Reynolds' current research focuses on sleep treatments of young people and adults, utilising the digital CBTi program Bedtime Window. This research aims to integrate best practice sleep treatments into the Australian health system in an easily-accessible and inclusive format for health providers and the community.
