I'm undertaking a PhD at the Adelaide University School of Economics under the project "How are the mental health benefits of access to nature distributwed across society?" The PhD will use a multi-disciplinary approach including analysis methodology in Nature Valuation, Applied Economics, Cost-Effectiveness Analysis and Social Determninants of Health to contribute to research, and inform policy and practice for environment and health outcomes.
 
The PhD builds on over 8 years' experience in Health Economics, Health Financing, Public Health, Health Policy, Health Systems Strengthening and Research - generating evidence that informs policy decisions, strengthens health systems, and improves equitable access to quality healthcare,  improved population health outcomes to achieve Universal Health Coverage in Low and Middle-Income Countries. My work focused on collaborating with and supporting government ministries, departments and agencies, development partners, and health organizations to make evidence-based decisions on resource allocation and utilization, health financing reforms, and strategic investments for overall health, as well as program-specific interventions such as HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, family planning, sexual and reproductive health, maternal, newborn and adolescent health and primary health care.
