Higher Degree by Research Candidate
School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials
Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences
Chaochen Xu received his BEng in Chemical Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2013. He then obtained his MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Adelaide in 2016. He is currently a PhD candidate in the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials at the University of Adelaide under the supervision of Prof Shi-Zhang Qiao, Prof Bo Jin, and Prof Dan Wang (IPE-CAS). He is a member of the Centre for Materials in Energy and Catalysis at the University of Adelaide.
His research interest is the development of heterogeneous electrocatalysts for clean energy conversion via small-molecule reactions (e.g. CO2 reduction, water splitting) at ambient conditions.
