Chandimal received his BScEng(Hons) and MEng degrees in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, and obtained his PhD in 2006 from Saga University, Japan. He received his postdoctoral experience at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. His research interests include AI, human-robot interaction, IoT, software engineering for robotics, and computer networks.
