Catherine Campbell (she/they) is a teaching academic in UniSA Creative. She is a singer, actor, director and educator. Catherine is the Course Coordinator for PERF 2013 Cabaret: Context & Practice, PERF 3008 Live Performance Production, PERF 3007 World Music Theatre and PERF 1010 Music Performance, as well as COMM 2103 Freelance & Enterprise for the Creative Industries. has previously been Course Coordinator for PERF 1011 Stage Performance and PERF 1001 Effective Communication. She has also taught in various Communication subjects. Catherine has been teaching at UniSA since 2002, and celebrates and promotes the excellent learning and investigative culture at UniSA. She previously taught and wrote courses in Arts Management at the Flinders Street School of Music (BA Music). Catherine has a BA (Hons 1st class) from Flinders Univeristy and half a PhD in English Literature (ARC scholarship). She studied an Acting Diploma at AC Arts (then CPA) and a Graduate Diploma of Arts Management at UniSA (City West), as well as at Yale (USA) as the recipient of a scholarship. Catherine is also a long-standing member of the State Opera of South Australia Chorus (1997-).
