Catalin is an accredited JBI Comprehensive Systematic Review (CSR) trainer with more than eight years of CSR teaching experience. He is an accredited JBI Clinical Fellowship trainer.
In the last six years Catalin was involved in extensive methodological research regarding the influences of Husserlian phenomenology in qualitative health research and the philosophical foundations of the JBI meta-synthesis by meta-aggregation (the influences of the philosophical ideas from American pragmatism and Husserlian phenomenology).
He is Associate Investigator at NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Aboriginal Chronic Disease Knowledge Translation and Exchange (CREATE).
Catalin is a Research Affiliate at The Critical and Ethical Mental Health (CEMH) research group, the Robinson Research Institute, the University of Adelaide.
In the last five years Catalin peer reviewed more than 100 systematic review protocols and systematic review reports.
Catalin is involved in the new initiative Restoring invisible and abandoned trials (RIAT initiative). The report of the RIAT re-examination of Study 329 is available as open access full text article from BMJ.
