Cameron is a Lecturer and Researcher in Physiotherapy at the School of Allied Health Science and Practice. He joined the University of Adelaide at the beginning of 2021, after working clinically in the area of musculoskeletal and sports injury management since 2004. Cameron has a particular interest in the clinical care of persons with complex and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, which prompted him to complete a Masters by Research (Health Sciences) in which he explored the relationship of chronic pain with symptoms of depression. Cameron is now a PhD candidate with the University of Adelaide, and a member of the SYNAPS (Synergy of Neck and Pain Studies) Research Group. His research interests are diverse within the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy however, Cameron is particularly interested in the betterment of physiotherapy management of persons with complex and chronic injuries. His PhD focusses on enhancing the implementation of high-value physiotherapy for persons with chronic pain. Cameron predominantly lectures and coordinates courses related to musculoskeletal physiotherapy; and also, holds multiple industry-based governance roles.Cameron is available to supervise honours projects.
