Bronwyn Overall is a Research Fellow at JBI in the School of Public Health at Adelaide University. She leads the Infection Control, Infectious Diseases, Surgical Services, Nutrition and Metabolic, Gastrointestinal, and Urinary fields within the Transfer Science Division at JBI and has the privilege of working with international experts in these fields. Bronwyn is passionate about evidence-based health care and actively contributes to the JBI Best Practice resources. She also co-coordinates the JBI Systematic Review Summary and Scoping Review Summary, which are a summary of a recently published systematic or socping review in the JBI Evidence Synthesis journal that are strategically designed to actively disseminate recommendations for clinical practice and research.Bronwyn's career began as a Registered Nurse several decades ago, and she has held a wide variety of clinical and management positions. She continues to hold a clinical position at the Lyell McEwin Hospital and values the opportunity to work in both clinical and research roles, furthering her ability to practice and promote evidence-based health care.As someone passionate about public health, global health, and the opportunities and accessibility for health care to all, her work at JBI involves collaborating with global experts to develop evidence-based practice resources that inform clinical decision-making at the point of care. She continues to maintain strong industry connections and is committed to advancing the field of evidence-based practice through her research and academic work.Bronwyn's thesis on the experiences of body image and sexuality in adutls with a faecal or urinary stoma contibuted to her Master in Clinical Science and has led to her interest in qualitative research.
