Bronwyn Overall is a Research Fellow at JBI in the School of Public Health at the University of Adelaide. She leads the Infection Control, Infectious Diseases, Surgical Services, Nutrition and Metabolic, Gastrointestinal, and Urinary fields within the Transfer Science Division at JBI and has the privilege of working with international experts in these fields. Bronwyn is passionate about evidence-based health care and actively contributes to the resources housed in the JBI EBP database. She also coordinates the JBI best practice information sheets, which are a summary of a recent systematic review strategically designed to actively disseminate current recommendations for clinical practice.
Bronwyn's career began as a Registered Nurse several decades ago, and she has held a wide variety of clinical and management positions. She continues to hold a clinical position at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and values the opportunity to work in both clinical and research roles, furthering her ability to practice and promote evidence-based health care.
As someone passionate about public health, global health, and the opportunities and accessibility for health care to all, her work at JBI involves collaborating with global experts to develop evidence-based practice resources that inform clinical decision-making at the point of care. She continues to maintain strong industry connections and is committed to advancing the field of evidence-based practice through her research and academic work.
Bronwyn is completing a master's program in clinical studies and is interested in qualitative research.
