Briarn Dixon is an MPhil student in the Angioscience and Cardiovascular Development Group, which is part of the Neurovascular Research Laboratory at the Centre for Cancer Biology, lead by Dr. Sophie Wiszniak and Professor Quenten Schwarz.
 
Briarn holds an undergraduate honours degree in Laboratory Medicine from the University of South Australia. Her current research at the Centre for Cancer Biology focuses on studying the relationship between neural crest cells and Notch signalling, and the role they play in pharyngeal pouch and thymus development, with a clinical link to the genetic disorder DiGeorge Syndrome.
