Mr Benjamin Altieri

Benjamin Altieri is a Lecturer at the University of South Australia, working across our Bacelor of Design (Product Design) and Master of Design programs. With a passion for strategic design, Design Thinking and Systems Thinking, Benjamin has a unique perspective on how these areas can work together to facilitate successful co-design and community engagement in the design process. He brings this perspective to his teaching and research projects, which have been recognised for their innovative approach and practical insights.
Throughout his academic and professional career, Benjamin has demonstrated a deep commitment to improving the practice of design and advancing the field through his research and collaboration. His work has earned him a reputation as a thoughtful and insightful researcher who is always seeking new and better ways to apply design principles and methodologies to real-world challenges. Whether he is working with students or fellow professionals, Benjamin is a collaborative and dynamic contributor who brings energy and enthusiasm to every project he undertakes.
Benjamin is also a former South Australian state council member of the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA), which is Australia’s largest association of Communication Designers.
