Avraham Chapman is currently a part time M Phil candidate undertaking research in Computer Vision. He has over 17 years of experience in industry as a software engineer. He has received a B Comp Sci from the University of Adelaide and a Graduate Certificate in Computer Systems Engineering from RMIT. His research interests primarily focus on the application of unsupervised learning techniques to computer vision.
My research is concerned with finding ways of training deep neural networks in counting tasks, such as crowd counting, using unsupervised methods. Previous research was concerned with acheiving 'detection like' accuracy using regression-based crowd counting models.
