"No man is an island"
All organisms are closely linked to the environment they are a part of, be it ecological or social. The social environment of an individual and its disturbances are a critical but often overlooked component of fundamental and conservation studies, and this is the gap I am aiming to explore. My research employs Social Network Analysis to address this question. The endemic social lizard species, gidgee skinks are my experimental model and I work in collaboration with an amazing team at the Flinders University Lab of Evolutionary Genetics and Sociality (LEGS).
