Anthony Richards is a PhD candidate within the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Adelaide University, based at Mawson Lakes Campus. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) (Honors) at UniSA. His PhD focuses on the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics to explore and explain the process of dispersion and evaporation of virulent droplets within a confined space. Prior to his PhD, he has worked within the Automotive and Mining industry as a mechanical designer, designing EV conversions for light vehicles intended for underground mining.

My PhD research investigates virulent cough droplets using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to determine factors affecting their dispersion and exposure pathways within confined environments.
