My Role
As Manager: Information Systems Projects, I am responsible for the initiation, design, management and delivery of key software projects within ISTS and the wider University environment. My role has a significant focus on stakeholder, vendor and resource management in particular building relationships between ISTS and internal and external stakeholders to establish a culture of service and partnership that is effective, collaborative and strategic.
My role involves:
Leading, managing and motivating a project team of business stakeholders, subject matter experts, business analysts, software developers, project coordinators/managers and external vendor staff
Collaborating with key senior stakeholders across the University to design, develop and implement software solutions that meet their business requirements
Assessing emerging technologies and software for suitable use within the University environment
Managing large projects to deliver customised system solutions for the University
Providing input into strategic planning and governance structures
Contribute to planning and budgeting of key software services
Team Responsibilities
My project team consists of a mix of business stakeholders, subject matter experts, project managers, executive sponsors and technical solutions staff along with a range of vendor staff including pre-sales managers, project managers, enterprise architects, team leads and technical solutions staff. We work collaboratively to design, develop, test and implement strategic projects to meet the needs of the University.
Information Strategy and Technology Services Projects
As part of the Enterprise Hub, my current project involves implementation of a new Industry Relationship CRM to provide a platform for University Staff to easily track all interactions and engagements with our Industry Partners and manage those key relationships both efficiently and effectively.

· Online Appointment Booking System for Students which is integrated with the Enterprise CRM
· Contact Centre Solution for Student Enquiries & Support which is fully integrated with the Enterprise CRM
· UniSA Research Data Access Portal and Data Management Planning System
· AskResearch web pages
· UniSA Research Metadata System
· UniSA High Value Data Collection for the Free Library of Water and Environmental Data
· UniSA Staff ID Cards integrated with the Staff Lifecycle
· Service Management Framework including establishment of business processes for Incident, Change & Configuration Mgmt
