A seasoned Radiographer and Sonographer within the medical imaging landscape. Angela holds over 20 years of industry experience.
Angela's passion for education shines through as she supports the next generation of sonographers, both as a Tutor Sonographer in rural Victoria and as an Academic and Course Coordinator in Medical Sonography at the University of South Australia. Angela recently completed a groundbreaking Master's study on the structure and function of jockeys' hearts and was a key researcher on the ASA-funded project investigating scan times and quality outcomes across Australia.
A current ASAR elected board member and the Chairperson for the Continuing Professional Development subcommittee, Angelas’ contributions have earned her the ASA South Australian Sonographer of the Year award in 2022, the ASA Best Overall Presentation at the ASA conference in 2024 and the ASA Victorian Sonographer of the Year award in 2025, as well as recognition for sustained excellence in teaching at the University of South Australia. As an Associate Fellow of the Australasian Sonographers Association, she continues to champion high-quality clinical supervision and rural/remote sonography services and enjoys watching the next generation of sonographers’ flourish in the profession.
