Eligible to supervise Masters and PhD - email supervisor to discuss availability.
Associate Professor Amy Keir is a clinician-researcher at the University of Adelaide and the South Australian Institute of Health and Medical Research (SAHMRI). She works clinically as a Neonatologist at Women's and Children's Hospital and as a Retrieval Consultant with the SA Ambulance Service (MedSTAR kids).
From 2019-2022, Amy is undertaking a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Research Fellowship to improve the clinical outcomes of preterm infants through closing the evidence to practice gap. This will be combined with her ongoing clinical work in SA Health.
Her research interests include clinical practice improvement, evidence-based medicine and transfusion medicine.
Current Research Activities
In 2019, I commenced a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Early Career Fellowship to improve clinical outcomes for preterm babies through closing the evidence to practice gap. I combined this with my ongoing clinical work as a Consultant Neonatologist and with the SA Ambulance Service.
