Dr Allison Roderick is the Program Director - Postgraduate Nursing & Midwifery and Senior Lecturer at the UniSA Clinical & Health Sciences.
Allison completed her Nursing degree at the University of South Australia in 1995. She then persued a career in Intensive Care which saw her work in both public and private ICUs in Adelaide, Darwin and London. On her return to Australia she undertook her PhD at Flinders University, entitled "Beyond Basics: Embedded infection control in everyday practices of nurses in an intensive care unit". Her research to date has used qualitative methodology to unpack infection control, missed care, quality & safety and mass-gatherings.
Her career has also enabled her to have close connections with industry including: infection control, education, ICU, perioperative and COVID surveillance.
