Mr Alireza Abedin Varamin
Research and PhD Scholar
School of Computer Science
Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences
I am currently a PhD scholar and researcher at the University of Adelaide since Feb. 2017. Previously, I received my M.Sc. in IT-Computer Networks at Amirkabir University of Technology, Iran in 2016 where I ranked 1st. Prior to this, I graduated from K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Iran in 2014 with a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering-Hardware, ranking 2nd.
My PhD is in the field of Human Activity Recognition (HAR) and it focuses on developing deep learning paradigms to facilitate automatic understanding of human actions from raw time-series sensory data. My main research interests lie primarily in the area of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
