Dr Ali Nazarizadeh (DVM, PhD) is a biomedical researcher specialising in radiation biology, comparative oncology, and nanobiotechnology. He completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in Iran and a PhD in Biomaterials Engineering and Nanomedicine at the University of South Australia, developing strong expertise across preclinical and translational research. His work spans radiation response, tumour biology, and the application of metallic nanoparticles for treating intractable diseases including cancer, diabetes, and immune disorders.
Ali’s research trajectory bridges academic and industry environments. His experience in fast‑turnaround, high‑accountability startup settings has sharpened his experimental design, imaging workflows, and translational thinking. This combination of structured academic training and agile industry execution informs his ability to deliver rigorous, impactful science.
Outside of research, Ali is an elite endurance athlete with a sub‑3‑hour marathon finish. His disciplined, methodical approach to training complements his scientific practice, bringing precision, resilience, and long‑term strategic thinking to his work.
