Eligible to supervise Masters and PhD - email supervisor to discuss availability.

I am currently a Senior Research Fellow in the Transfer Science program at the Joanna Briggs Institute. JBI is an international not-for-profit, research and development centre within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Adelaide, South Australia.
The Institute collaborates internationally with over 70 entities across the world. The Institute and its Collaborating Entities promote and support the synthesis, transfer and implementation of evidence through identifying feasible, appropriate, meaningful and effective healthcare practices to assist in the improvement of healthcare outcomes globally. I have had various roles within JBI, and I'm currently working delivering high quality educational short courses, and with a clinical midwifery background enjoy facilitating clinicians in the field of evidence-based healthcare, research synthesis, transfer and implementation. Special interests include involvement with a group of international researchers to further develop text, opinion and policy systematic reviews, and implementation methodology for JBI.

My research has been in the area of evidence synthesis, evidence transfer and evidence implementation with a particular focus on midwifery and nursing clinical care issues. Recent research highlights include projects for the SAX Institute on safe management of expressed breastmilk; working with the Centre of Research Excellence in Aboriginal Chronic Disease Knowledge Translation and Exchange (CREATE) as an Associate Investigator; and an implementation study which focused on in-hospital falls prevention for the HCF Health and Medical Research Foundation. I have also been involved with leading a group of international researchers to further develop text and opinion systematic reviews, and an implementation methodology working group at JBI.
