I am currently working as a course coordinator and lecturer of Structural Engineering at UniSA STEM, University of South Australia since January 2025.
I obtained my Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Civil Engineering in 2008, and my Master's degree (MSc) in Civil/Structural Engineering in 2014 from Mansoura University, Egypt. Additionally, I completed my Ph.D. degree in Civil/Structural Engineering in 2022 from UniSA STEM, University of South Australia.
I worked as a casual Lecturer, Tutor/Online Tutor, and OCF at UniSA STEM and UniSA Online (STEM) - University of South Australia. I teach Structural Engineering and Construction Management courses to undergraduate and Master's students.
Additionally, I have worked as an Assistant Professor (on leave) at Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt, since February 2023. I worked as an Assistant Lecturer at Mansoura University from 2008 to 2018, teaching Structural Engineering courses including Reinforced Concrete Structures, Design of Steel Structures, Mechanics of Materials, Structural Analysis, Applications of Finite Elements in Civil Engineering, and Design of Concrete Structures for Earthquakes.
My research interests include Engineered Cementitious Composites (ECC), Fiber Reinforced Concrete, High-strength Cooncrete, Composite Structures, Steel Structures, Cold-Formed Steel Structures and timber Structures.
