Ahmed Saudi is a PhD researcher at the Laser Physics and Photonics Devices Laboratories (LPPDL) group within the School of Physics, Chemistry and Earth Sciences, College of Science at Adelaide University.

His PhD research focuses on the development of compact & ultra stable Frequency microcomb based on waveguide lasers platforms. His work targets advanced applications in precision optical metrology, astrocombs and high-resolution spectroscopy.

He obtained his PhD in Experimental Physics from the Faculty of Science at Cairo University, Egypt, in 2024, and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics from the Faculty of Science at Beni Suef University, Egypt, awarded in 2015.

His research interests include optical frequency microcombs, waveguide lasers, optical fiber systems, and frequency metrology.
