My PhD was about genetically engineering a filamentous fungus to better treat wastewater from wineries.
 
From 2011 to 2021 I taught through fixed-term or casual contracts, up to nine per semester.  
 
In 2022 I was appointed as an Associate Lecturer in the School of Biological Sciences, teaching mostly first-year biology.  In 2025 I was promoted to Lecturer.

Interested in discipline-based educational research (DBER) in biology, especially about how to optimise online resources for student learning
