Adelaide works clinically as a General Practitioner in general private practice and in the aged care sector. At the University of Adelaide, she works for Adelaide Health Simulation, developing and evolving programs in healthcare simulation and inter-professional learning. She also coordinates professionalism courses in the Adelaide Medical School MBBS program. Adelaide graduated from The University of Sydney Medical School in 2011 and returned to South Australia to begin her medical career. Prior to entering the medical profession, Adelaide studied law and international studies, and worked in both the legal profession and the agricultural industry.

Adelaide's teaching interests are in simulation based learning, the use of technology in learning, and the adoption of active learning pedagogies.  She enthusiastically engages in students as partners in learning projects,  and is involved in a number of non traditional inter-professional learning activities. 

Adelaide is a member of the Adelaide Education Academy. Within the MBBS program, She currently coordinates the Year 1 and 3 Professionalism and Leadership courses, as well as teaching into Clinical Practice in years 1-3, and the Transition to Internship Program. In partnership with other faculties, Adelaide also teaches into Health Law and Ethics, and a number of Masters of Arts (Translation, Interpreting and Trans cultural Communication) subjects.
