Abdul Mohsi Jawaid (preferred name Mohsi) is a current MPhil student at the University of Adelaide. They completed their Bachelor of Computer Science (Advanced) degree at the University of Adelaide as well. Now Mohsi is conducting their research at the Australian Institute of Machine Learning. Mohsi was awarded several prizes in their undergraduate candidature including multiple Executive Dean's awards, the Maptek Prize for Computer Science for highest aggregate score in second year and the Australian Computer Society award for highest aggregate score in their final year. Mohsi has also received the Governor's International Award in the academic category as well as the Oracle User's Group prize. Mohsi's area of focus is Computer Vision and Machine Learning. They aim to understand and work on generative models for synthetic data. Mohsi's PhD research is trying to bridge the domain gap between synthetic and real data for spacecraft pose estimation.

Under the Australian Institute of Machine Learning, I am conducting research in Domain Adaptation for the task of Spacecraft Pose Estimation.
