Dr. Abdullahi Chowdhury is a distinguished academic and researcher with a rich background in IT, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree from Federation University Australia in 2020, complementing his academic journey that includes a Master of Information Technology from Monash University (2006) and a Bachelor of Information Technology from Central Queensland University (2004).
Abdullahi has over a decade of diverse industrial experience, having made significant contributions at Telstra, the Australian Taxation Office, and Australia Post. His academic career includes various roles at Monash University, RMIT University, and Federation University Australia. He worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at The University of Adelaide under the Modelling, Monitoring, and Moderating Human-AI Interactions (M3HAI) project.
He has over 35 publications to his credit, spanning twelve highly reputed journals, twenty international conferences, and three book chapters. His research interests encompass cybersecurity, intelligent transportation systems, data analytics, machine learning, context-free grammar, and artificial intelligence.
