I am a first-year PhD student studying Kelly Hill Caves on Kangaroo Island to understand patterns of past drought and fire history. My main interests are using geochemical proxies for reconstructing the past 2,000 years of paleoclimate. My end goal is to understand patterns of extreme climate events enough to assist climate mitigation efforts.
Outside of my PhD I am interested and involved in lab and teaching assistant work in the Earth Science Department. I am also a social runner, field hockey player, and avid enjoyer of South Australian surf.
