Based at City West, Ash supports UniSA Creative, UniSA Business and UniSA Justice & Society in her role as Academic Librarian. Her key activities involve:
Facilitating the publication and integration of inclusive Open Educational Resources (OER) into pedagogical practice
Providing expertise on information discovery and resource use
Developing and delivering training and online resources tailored to teaching and research support
Collaborating with academic staff, researchers and other professional units on common goal projects
Ash is passionate about life-long learning and equitable access to high quality, diverse information. She is undertaking formal studies in data analytics to deepen her knowledge in data science and she actively works with staff and students to integrate open digital technologies that influence innovative and inclusive educational experiences.
Ash was awarded a Libraries of the Australian Technology Network (LATN) Fellowship for her project exploring practical inclusive solutions in OER through an international study tour. The project culminated in the creation of EmpoweredOER.
