Eligible to supervise Masters and PhD (as Co-Supervisor) - email supervisor to discuss availability.

Dr Sheree Bailey is Senior Lecturer in Laboratory Medicine and a member of Health and Biomedical Innovation at the University of South Australia. Sheree is the course coordinator for Experimental Research Practice (MEDI 4014) and 2nd year Essential Haematology (MEDI 2005). Before joining UniSA in 2019, she was a Senior Medical Scientist at SA Pathology at Flinders Medical Centre in the Flow Cytometry Facility, Department of Immunology. While there she completed her PhD at Flinders University in 2017. The PhD project investigated signaling pathways in rituximab-resistant non-Hodgkin lymphoma cells.
Sheree is an early career researcher who has extensive experience in clinical and research flow cytometry. She collaborates with the acute leukaemia laboratory at the Centre for Cancer Biology. She was clinical adviser for the Australasian Cytometry Society and co-chair of the of the flow cytometry and cellular analysis committee, International Society for Laboratory Haematology. Sheree continues to develop her expertise in flow cytometry through collaboration with Cytek Biosciences, Inc. Sheree is a co-supervisor of 2 PhD students and enjoys introducing undergraduate and honour's students to the research laboratory.
