Rebecca Dostan is an early career academic within the Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology program, and Clinical Supervisor at the University of South Australia City East and Magill Exercise Physiology Clinics. As a tutor and clinical educator, Rebecca is frequently involved within the teaching and education of students, and enjoys assisting and developing students in becoming competent health practitioners. Rebecca always attempts to use a teaching style that facilitates a supportive and approachable environment, which she hopes enables academic learning and the opportunity for students to grow, develop and reflect.
Rebecca is also currently completing her PhD, with her research exploring the development and validation of a framework for interprofessional practice within a primary care setting. She hopes that her research will be useful to improve multidisciplinary practice, to ultimately improve client care.
Rebecca shares a strong passion for health and exercise and has always had an interest in exercise and the benefits it can have on improving an individual’s life. She enjoys sharing her enthusiasm of physical activity and how it can help prevent and manage injuries and chronic health conditions.
