Jasmine is the course coordinator and lecturer for Introduction to Algebra (MATH1060) at Domestic Pathways Unit, Adelaide University. She has taught mathematics to students at TAFE and Foundation Studies program at Flinders University in South Australia. She started her career as a mathematics and science teacher in secondary schools in Malaysia. She then became a mathematics lecturer at Institute of Teacher Education in Malaysia. She is passionate about engaging students actively in learning mathematics. She adopts context-based learning approach in enabling students to make sense of numbers and experience meaningful learning.
Investigating the relationship between UniSA College students' affective aspects to learning mathematics and their achievements through their enabling program mathematics courses.
