Jarrad Knight is a PhD student at Adelaide University, conducting research in computational fluid dynamics with a focus on hypersonic flow, aerothermodynamics and ablation. His work uses high-fidelity numerical simulations of thermochemical nonequilibrium flows to study the wake and plume generated by hypersonic vehicles in flight.
