As Academic Lead, Students in the School of Computer Science and Information Technology, I am responsible for driving a positive, consistent, and supportive student experience across all Information Technology programs. My role focuses on academic leadership in student engagement, progression, and retention, ensuring that students are well supported from entry through to graduation.I bring extensive experience in curriculum design, teaching innovation, and professional practice education, with a strong emphasis on preparing students for real-world careers in technology and cybersecurity. I have led major program reforms, integrated work-integrated learning and internships, and worked closely with internal and external stakeholders to align academic programs with industry and professional expectations. I have extensive teaching experience in the Networking and cyber security field. I have taught both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and supervised numerous final year IT Projects. I also manage Adelaide University Cisco Academy which offers CCNA and CCNP.
