Grant Hall is a teaching and research academic at the University of South Australia. He holds a Masters of Business (Research), Masters of Management (Arts & Cultural Management), a Graduate Certificate in Art History, and a Diploma of Music. Grant is currently a PhD candidate researching the transformative aspects of arts activities. He has held teaching and professional positions at universities and other educational institutions in Australia, Canada, Germany, Northern Ireland and Vietnam. His professional background is in the arts, initially as a musician, and then as an arts manager. His arts management career has encompassed organisational and event management, public servant roles, consulting, research and teaching.
