I am a lecturer and researcher in the School of Psychology at the University of Adelaide. I primarily teach with the School of Psychology’s online programs: the Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Online) and the Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Online) Advanced. My research is generally within the fields of social, personality and educational psychology.

My primary research interests are:

  • Forgiveness, conflict and relationship dynamics: My projects in this area focus on relationship factors which predict how someone will react to hurtful events in their interpersonal relationships.
  • Real-world data analysis practices: My projects in this area focus on exploring how researchers and students use and learn statistical methods.
  • Educational psychology: My projects in this area focus on evaluating strategies for effective online education.

Value: $2,000. In collaboration with Dr Peta Callaghan and Dr Christopher Bean. “Challenges, opportunities and best practice for developing accelerated online programs: A case study exploring online graduate level program development at the University of Adelaide.”

I primarily teach with the School of Psychology’s online programs: the Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Online) and the Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Online) Advanced. Currently, I coordinate the following courses in some teaching periods:

  • Applied Quantitative and Qualitative Methods (GDPA)
  • Research Methods, Design and Analysis (GDP)
  • Applying Research Methods in Psychology (GDP)

My main teaching focus is creating material to make learning research methods and statistics concepts as accessible as possible, while still equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed in the future. I also teach within the areas of social, personality and evolutionary psychology. I provide R Support for undergraduate students and supervise Honours projects.
