Jo Mignone is the Program Director for the Bachelor of Digital Media at UniSA Online, as well as an awarded academic, artist and illustrator in the Bachelor of Design (Illustration and Animation) at the University of South Australia. Jo's main teaching focus is coordinating and teaching illustration, drawing and creative artefact production processes. She has won teaching awards, including a recent fellowship and grants for her teaching of drawing and illustration and regularly exhibits her work internationally. Jo is a research degree supervisor and her research examines expanded illustration practice and pedagogy, publishing both creative artefacts and traditional research outputs.

2019 - 2021 International Finalist, Lethbridge 20000 Small Scale Art Award.
2018 International Finalist, Mumedi Mexican Museum of Design poster exhibition. Her work was selected from over 30,000 participants to be an international finalist, exploring communication values in poster design.
