Liang Zhao received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of South Australia (UniSA) in 2025. His research focuses on machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision, with applications in remote sensing and related fields. He has published his work in leading journals in the field of remote sensing. His recent work is dedicated to advancing early fire smoke detection using small satellites and onboard AI techniques.
