Eligible to supervise Masters and PhD (as Co-Supervisor) - email supervisor to discuss availability.
Mehmet is a perpetual learner with a curious mind. He is fascinated by how our minds work and truly enjoys learning, researching and teaching topics related to Applied Psychology and Management.
He was lucky enough to receive some cool awards for his work such as:
Teaching Excellence Award from SAIBT/UniSA in 2023
Ruth Rentschler Research Grant in 2020 as the top PhD student for Tourism, Sports, or Arts Management at UniSA Business (valued at $4.000)
Vice-Chancellor and President's Research Grant in 2019 as the top PhD student at UniSA Business (valued at $10.000)
Mehmet values the power of positivity, strategic authenticity, and confident humility as well as the effect they have on professional relationships. He was pleasantly surprised to see this principle in action in Daniel Kahneman’s reflections about his top collaborator Amos Tversky in 'Thinking, Fast and Slow'. There, Daniel mentions, he was drawn to the genius of Amos Tversky not just for his sharp intellect, but also for his collegiality, sense of humour, and the joy it brought.
