I started working in hand rehabilitation in 1990 as an occupational therapist, in private and public systems in Chicago, St Louis (USA) and Adelaide. I left the area of hand rehabilitation due to having rheumatoid arthritis in my own hands, and started teaching teaching anatomy to allied health students in 1998. By 2007 I had transitioned from hand rehabilitation to teaching anatomy full time, and love the subject more each day.
Hand rehabilitation, Best Practice in Anatomy Education, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
